Hi There
cn anyone please tell me where I can find out how to set up a webcam for use
in face to face communication with other users.
I have a an oldish "Cheapie" Agfa CL18 Digital camera that I can use and
the manual gives instructions for use in video conferencing with MS
Netmeeting ,however the instructions require me to choose an "ILS Server"
from a website that now seems non existant. Can anyone help please.
Thanks
Fred

Hi, netmeeting will do fine, all you need to know is the IP of the person
who you are calling. I believe that ILS servers are the thing of the past.
There is also another program called 'eyeball chat' at
http://www.eyeballchat.com I've used this very successfully and
communication is very good....

Just download MSN Messenger 6.1 from Microsoft web site,
it supports video. Only prob is, if your friend uses some
other messenger like Yahoo or AOL Instant Messenger, then
you have to download that one too. I have Yahoo, AOL and
MSN Messengers installed, so I can video chat with most
people.

Cheers,
