A couple of years ago I bought a Veo Web Camera V300000 that works
well with XP. However the driver CD doesn't support Vista (a message
from it so indicates), and just plugging the camera into a USB port
produces a message stating that Windows was unable to find a driver for
it. I tried going to http://www.veo.com but get a message indicating
the site is unavailable. If any kind soul knows a solution to this, I'd
sure appreciate hearing about it. I'm running the Business version of
Vista for whatever that's worth.

You'll need the contact the manufacturer for a Vista driver.

However, if the manufacturer is gone, then I'm sorry to say, you are
basically out of luck with that piece of hardware.

Nobody else is going to go to the time and expense of creating drivers for
it, and frankly I'd be surprised if Veo did themselves. Webcams aren't
expensive enough to provide the funds needed to pay the programmers to write
new drivers.

You'll have to replace it with something that has Vista drivers.
