webbot include pages

I was copying and pasting a page within a web site that
contained FP webbot includes (header and footer). I have
done this many times before with no problem. The page
looked fine in the browser after I made my changes, but
once my boss viewed the page the webbots did not display.
I went in and used FP component to relink the urls. Has
anyone one else had this problem? If so is there a way to
prevent it or do I just need to make sure a new browser
window open each time I test a page? I was just using the
same browser window and refreshing the page.
 
Did you have the web open and not just the page when you did this?
