Thanks to everyone who patiently answered my questions.
hellscanyonchamber.com is finally loading right and fit to see. Big thanks to
a new friend who designed the logo.

Hey...looks better!
You probably don't need the same nav bar vertical AND horizontal though.

If you eliminate the horizontal one under your new logo-banner it would free up room to put the Home Feedback Contents Search navs under your logo banner...that might look nicer (?)

looks gooder :-)

oops, sorry one more thing...centering text in paragraphs looks goofy...ok for heading/headlines...goofy for body text.

Thanks Rob, I'm not happy with the repeated bars either, but if I take off
the verticals on the home page, I can't have them on the next layer of pages.
I played with it for hours, if I get the lower level of pages like I want
them, it messes up the higher levels. So I gave up until I know more--like
how to build the site without using themes.

OK, I'll look at that too. I thought I was getting a little center happy.

Thanks Rob, I really appreciate the advice. I'll solve the left navigation
bars problem another day, when I understand better.
Cheers

Sue, nice site! I love the view in the first picture.

For quilters, you need to mention the Quilt Shop in Halfway! ;-) One of my
must stop places when we swing around that way to Baker City.

Oop! After I dug further into your website, I found the quilt shop!!

Yes, Roberta does a wonderful job. E-mail us from the site so I can test that
out.
Cheers, Sue

Yeah ~ I'd tend to agree with eliminating the side nav buttons -
what was the reason you needed to keep them again?? :)
another idea - don't know what folk in here think about Frames - but
you could have a top frame with all in it that's required -it stays
put never needing to be reloaded, and all links open up in the main
frame below it. If you find later that you need more space for link
buttons - come back and we'll point you to "drop down menu" making :)
