Web Site Publishing Sign In Goes to La La Land

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have been using Front Page 2003 and upgrades for years. I am in Windows
XP Pro with all security updates and upgrades, SP, etc. Four years on this
laptop with the same web hosting company. No software changes. I update
pages on the fly daily. rathboneenergy.com.

Yesterday and today, I modify and save a page locally. Then I right click
and publish page. The window comes up, I select the third tab, choose the
second bullet with the upload or change sub categories, whatever it says, and
publish to my web site.

Another window comes up and ask for my user name and password. I type that
in, no change in all these years, and as of yesterday, it just goes to la la
land. 20 minutes later I can right click and the publish page is highlighted
and checked but nothing is happening. I have to go in through task manager
and close Front Page.

The same if I try to simply access www.rathboneenergy.com.

Can anyone advise? Valueweb can't!

Thank you Steve,

I was probably doing that when you posted. I am re-calculating hyperlinks
on my hard drive now. Robert Sternuch used to handle Frotn Page clients for
them. Unfortunately he is no longer there. I was just told by their support
desk to do it through my control panel because they could not access my site
either.

So, I am about to install the extensions again.

My site is large. I have been told for 8 or so years that my site is too
large for Front Page. After I upload my site again all the navigation and
site map will be messed up as that is what always happens when I am forced to
pulish clean.

PS. MY Front Page is also loaded on a Tower that is 8 years old and no
longer used. How do I get it cleared through Microsfot so I can load it on
another tower?

Break the site up into subwebs.
There is no such thing as a site too large for FrontPage

Uninstall from the old machine, install in the new one, use the activate by phone method
and tell them what you've done.

Easy enough. But, I think the primary profile on that machine was messed
with by an employee who tried very hard to get into systems where is was told
not to go. He was terminated. I do not know if I can get into the admin
profile to do the uninstall.

Thank you.
