Try these easy steps first:
1. Open a command window from Start> Run> cmd. Enter the following command
then hit [enter]
ipconfig /flushdns
2. Clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often
recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)
3. If running a cable modem, dsl modem or router, have you, at some point,
shut
everything down for a few minutes? This sometimes helps.
4. Check your HOSTS file. See: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
5. Disable third-party security programs. Norton Internet Security, in
particular, has caused problems with XP SP2.
