web page size

Why do my web pages only show up half size? When I click
on an internet shortcut on my desktop I need to click
maximize. I've never had this problem before, and I can't
figure out how to change it so that I would always get a
maximum size page(not full sreen). I've also noticed
the .wav file used as the maximize sound has also changed.
How do I fix this?

move cursor to corner of window to get the diagonal
double arrows. slide to desired size. next time you
open window it should open to that size.
also ------------------------
goto control panel/folder options and make settings as
desired. do some reading in your help/support window.
help/support can answer most questions by doing research.
