web page drops

I am running windows XP with modem, my explorer will drop me of my web page,
back to my window page with the clouds, but i will sill be on the internet so
i have to start from the begining again. any answers why.

Are you using Internet Explorer or another browser? When the browser
closes, just open it again. Clear the browser cache and see if that
keeps it from crashing on you.
