web page date of update

I used a code typed into the address bar of IE that would
generate a pop-up with the date of the last update of the
web page being viewed.

I did not use it much but it did come in handy
sometimes. Originally I got it from a Q&A on a site that
is not there anymore.

Now I have lost the paper I had it written on and do not
remember what it was.

Does anyone happen to know it?

Thanks!

Pete

Thanks for reply Dennis but that does not give the date
of the latest update to the web page.

Like I said this was a short entry in the address bar of
IE (but not a www entry) and generated a pop-up with the
date of the last update of the page.

Right clicking gives me either today's date (like on the
newsgroup page or my own web page) or "unavailable".
