please someone offer some help here...

on certain pages the content or picture in the middle loads, then as soon as it has loaded it vanishes....with certain sites it is a small dot that i can save the image of ( ie yahoo profiles, the picture vanishes but leaves a dot that i can right click on and save pic as) but others ....the whole middle goes.... it rarely if at all affects the sides or top/bottoms... i have done virus checks, looked at my browser settings and i have downloaded all the windows updates from the site....( do the ie6 updates all get put on there too, or just critical ones?) but nothing seems to change it........ help anyone

thank you

Are you using a hosts file to block so tracking sites?

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

Clear the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and delete
offline content.) It's often recommended that the Temporary Internet Files
(folder) be kept at
40-50 MB. Bigger isn't necessarily better.
If still no joy then have a look at this page for other issues.
