Hello,

I have just registered my domain name which required two
DNS server names. ns1.mydomain.net and ns2.mydomain.net
I have placed these names into the Windows 2003 DNS
server. I was wondering if I had to place my domain name
www.mydomain.net into the DNS server as well or will this
be resolved automatically?

Thanks,
Steve

You need a Forward Lookup Zone named mydomain.net then in that zone you need
a host named www, mail, ns1, ns2 and so on, These records must point to
their respective public IP addresses if this is the publicly available zone
for your domain.
