Web forwarding in DNS

Has anyone been able to use web forwarding in their DNS
table. IE using a URL instaed of an IP address to resolve
a host name

DNS cannot be used for web forwarding, you can create an alias that will
resolve by pointing to another FQDN that must resolve eventually to an IP
address. It does not change what is displayed in the browser address bar.
