i have bought a packard bell computer. when i tried to install my web cam, it
gives a message saying no video hardware. i thought all comps came with this
already installed, how do i get the hardware to install it for free as i
should have it already

Nope, you need to contact the provider of the hardware for the
instructions and drivers.

You have to have

1) A video car installed with its drivers correctly configured in Windows.
2) A computer monitor (so you can see the configurations, error messages
etc...)
3) The web-cam drivers CD. Not standard with every PC.

Once you are able to get into XP and see on the monitor, you will then need
to install the web-came drivers.
