Web Cam Logo Test

I was going to install a camera for Web Cam and they said to request Miscrosoft capability for LogoTest from Microsoft or install at my risk may cause my computer to become unstable and I have a new Dell and did not want to risk it without getting info from microsoft. I could not find the info on the website. Hope you can give me some help on this. I checked Windows updates. Thanks

What the software was telling you is that it is not approved to install in
Windows XP. You install it at your own risk.

Go for it - usually works fine.

Logo Testing is a marketing ploy from Microsoft. All hardware makers have
to pay for each piece os hardware they want tested and several do not
bother.
