web browser scroll

I have recently erased all my history files of sites that
I have been browsing on. However,when I use the browser
now, there is still 4 items from my history left on the
browser scroll. I want to remove these. help me please.

Hi Randy-

First, I assume you've done the following:
Control Panel>IE Options>General Tab>Clear History. (This is the correct
method)

If that has failed, then:
Can you not simply highlight (select) them one at a time>Right-Click>delete?
Or try View>by site/date/ whatever>select>delete?

Clearing History May Not Remove Pages You Visited Today in Internet Explorer
(N.B. - This problem may occur if another process has the history locked
when you click Clear History.)
