seconded - easier to use than some other alternatives, and updates
whenever there is a problem with the host website.

Nice. Beats the heck out of Weather Bug.

I'm spoiled on MyIE2 for checking weather.

I have a group set up especially for weather. One click brings up 6 pages on
separate tabs. These tabs include hi res doppler and satellite, 7 day
forecast, precip forecast, current conditions, etc. One more click closes
all 6 pages.

Here's a sample page. It makes the blurry little radar look pretty bad!

Agreed: good program.

As an aside, the cookie-dependent work-round to get a display in
degrees C -- for those of us who use that -- is to click on the "view
this at weather.com"; tick the button for "display in metric"; then
keep the cookie for that preference.

Another aside: I just checked, and my verson is 2.53.7.4b -- dunno if
there's been an update since that.

I believe, what you have is the beta version that is listed on their site,
but the link no longer works, at least, it didn't for me.

Hmmm....I'm not sure how I wound up with the beta......

As you say, the link on http://www.tropicdesigns.net/weatherpulse.html
is broken, but it still works -- I just checked -- if you use the beta-
download link on http://www.tropicdesigns.net/software.html.

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering how to do that.

I must confess it's not my discovery: I found it by searching the
support forum for WeatherPulse.......the degrees F thing was driving me
up the wall......

Nice weather program imho.

Zo

Just for the record........

I had a problem installing last night; Installed OK, at least it appeared
ok. It asks you for the city first time you install...so I put in my city
and state; thing hummed and clanked and finally finished, I get Washington
DC (not my city [perhaps the default?]). There didn't appear to be any way
to change Washington DC to my city, so I uninstalled and deleted the folder.
Re-installed putting in my zip code. This time I don't get any city, but it
still buzzes away trying to get my weather for ' '.

Personally I don't care about the official weather, just thought it would be
a nice program, but at least for me it sucks. BTW I have Win Xp home and
cable modem.

If I need the weather, I'll just bring up my Phoenix Browser with MSN home
page with my weather on it...or look outside. :)
