It would not run on either of my computers, a new Dell with XP SP2 or
an old PII with W2K Pro. Not updating, just a new install on both.

Not working: using Win2K: Entry Point not found : The procedure entry point
MessageBoxTileoutA could not be located in the dynamic link library
user32.dll
It's also a new installation.
What is wrong?

Tried this myself and same problems as vanrinsg and Mike on a pristine W2K
install.

According to the site forum;

"That message function is only called 2 times, once if your XSL or XML
files are not found and another time when you link a image to a forecast.

What version of Windows are you running?

If you are running anything other then Windows XP, try downloading the
installation file for 2.04 again and re-install right over the previous
version. I have edited the code for users not running XP and updated the
version to 2.04.1, same download. The function seems to be XP specific,
which It was not suppose to be. You should see v2.04.1 when the program
loads.

I do wonder if you have another problem though, that message should only
be called at startup if your XML or XSL files are not loaded?"

However the mirrors seem to still have version 2.04 and haven't updated to
2.04.1.

Lokks like we'll have to wait till the mirrors update.

strange....I have installed 2.04 on top of 1.X...then 2.04.1 one on
top of the other, and they not only work fine, the new features are a
delight. Weather from all over the world, and lots of new animated
satellite/doppler images.

(The only slightly disconcerting thing is the 'about' splash screen,
when you look up the version #...when you click it closed, it fades
out very slowly, thru levels of transparency...weird..)

2.04.1.

and I got them straight from his page...
