WDS 3.01 Setup Error

I used WDS3.01 and uninstalled it for a while. When I reinstalled, I face the
error as follows:
SETUP ERROR

Windows Desktop Search 3.01 could not be installed on this system.

For mote details Check the log file.
(C:\Windows\KB917013.log)

Please Advice how to remedy the problem and install WDS sucessfully.

Have you looked at the log file? I'm not sure how long such a file would
be--you can work with it in notepad--consider posting it, or perhaps just
the tail end of it?
