I had a document which had several fractions (WD TypographicSymbolsJ).
However they are missing from 'View, Symbol.' Do you have a template or a
file?

Peggy,
Hit Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->CharacterMap
This program displays every character in all fonts installed on your
computer. Search through the font you were using to find the fractions and
then double click the symbol/character to put it to your clipboard. Then
paste it into the document.

I think you are thinking of WP Typographic Symbols, which came with
WordPerfect. You should be able to find the symbols you need in most Unicode
fonts; if not, there are many more in Arial Unicode MS. For various
insertion methods, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/InsertSpecChars.htm
