Hi Guys an Gals - just got in after a hard day at work and read the issues that you have TD.
As V_R and Mucks have already said, you need Boinc to utilise both cores of your X2 and run to 2 WU's (work units) at once.
If experience with my X2 3800 is anything to go by, you should get around 6000+ points with your 4200 X2 on a good day - sometimes more and sometimes less using Boinc with the tweak enhancement.
Have a look at the thread V_R pointed you to and go for it - you will soon be leaping up that table and leaving folks in your dust!!
Edit: one thing to be aware of as V_R has found out - you may need to manually set up permissions with your firewall to allow boinc.exe access...
