Suse refuses to 'see' my 10 port ADSL router, dam thing was free too, BT don't use MAC addresses do they?

I don't know much about BT adsl Mucks, sorry, but am I likely to to come across this problem when I set up Suse10 on my spare PC and try and use it with my Belkin Cable Router with Telewest Broadband?

I don't think so ... just have it all plugged in and turned on ... now wireless is still giving people grief. Same for printers and other stuff, just have them turned on and connected.

That 10port ADSL is just a no-name freebee, so I ain't too bothered ... what annoyed me was I had to buy the bloody BT ADSL router & it cost £25.

BT have a nice 4port going that I may buy, as it's under £50 it won't break the bank ... they at least don't care how many PCs you connect.

Glad to hear Mucks! - I have now downloaded the EvalDVD iso (took 2 hours) and will be burning it tonight, then giving it a go tomorrow - just make sure your around so I can scream for help....

Really, instalation is a piece of cake, but most "playback" stuff like DVDs are cripled ... some stupid legal thing ... but it is easy to 'fix' and I have an easy way to do it.

Just get a Linux thread going when your ready.
