Thanks for the welcome home folks - its good to be back!!

Just to alert everyone using Boinc - at the moment the WCG servers are down and have been since around 3pm.

If your PC has been trying to communicate since this time to upload or download work you willl no doubt see red error messages.

Please can everyone check their machines once the server is up and running again to make sure that your Boinc Manager is working OK.

Ok - the website is now back up and running, but there still appears to be a problem with the work servers.


I am constantly getting red error messages when trying to fetch work :

Scheduler request to https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/boinc/wcg_/fcgi failed with a return value of 500
No schedulers responded

I have posted a message at WCG Forums, and will update you when I get a reply

i've just sent in a WU and recieved another one with the WCG client, must be just BOINC thats affected

Yep, its definately b*ggered - Phicks is getting the same over at BBF.

I'm going up north for the weekend soon, and I would like to see it sorted before I go, otherwise I'm gonna worry all the time...

Update - just started working again, and succesfully downloaded more work!!

Going to North Shropshire - not that far North I know - but to us Southerners any place North of Watford is a looooooong way away!

At least I don't have to worry now
