I Down loaded a lecture and used the "Sound Recorder" to
create the 'hard disk' file (*.wav).

It plays perfectly when I use the "Sound Recorder" to
load and play.

Problem: The MS Windows Media Player 9. Will open the
file, and it appears that it is play, the time increments.

However there is no sound.

My main purpose was to create a CD in Music format by
converting the *.wav file. Then I could listen to the
lecture on my CD in my car.

I have done this in the past, but now things are not
working correctly.

Help.

Thanks Gerry B
