Wav file conversion

Hi to all,

is it possible to convert a 16 signed mono .wav file into
a .wav 8bit alaw format ?

Any samples, code snippets or so ?

The sample code is in C++, but you can still use it in C# with any tool that
makes the compatibility between the 2 languages, such as "RegAsm.exe". Or
you can take a look at the format and maybe you'll figure out how to do it
yourself
