watts

Compared to what? In a home or car stereo, no, imho. My car has 450 watts,
home stereo has 125 watts, and computer stereo 75 peak watts, (about 45
rms). If you want alot of sound out of a small amount of watts and speakers
then you need a sub-woofer. My car has dual 10" mtx subs, home 15" pioneer
sub, computer 8" harmon kardon.

Could be -- lol. I only have two weeks left to enjoy the car stereo though.
Time to put the Mustang away for the winter.(

If this is for your computer that should do you nice. 30/21 rms is decent
for the computer, it probably does 40-60 peak. That's about standard for the
satellites, but should be fine. Depending on type of music some distortion
could crop up on the sats(I listen to alot of heavy metal which can distort
speakers that can't handle it all). What kind of sound card do you have,
this makes a differnce too? For most people this setup would be very nice
for the computer. Price?

Sounds cool. I always liked corvairs. My stang is an 87 Mustang GT 5.0,
Black w/custom grey int, factory t-top(87-88 were the only years they had
factory t-top), small engine mods, mostly stock. Had it for 10 years now and
hope to go another 20.)

Oh ya that will probably sound pretty nice. The techno will have that sub
thumping and it should be plenty loud enough. If it's a good price I imagine
you'd be quite happy with it.

A watt is a unit of power, not a unit of loudness. The amount of sound that
comes out of a speaker is a function of the power supplied and the
efficiency with which the speaker converts supplied power to sound. Also,
small speakers driven by tiny amounts of power can seem loud if they are
jammed into your ear canal.
