Ref my subject: upgraded XP and now cant access webs with Front Page

No one helped on my issue posted yesterday, although a couple of folks did try for which I thank you. I have contacted others that have had this issue and FINALLY got an answer. It is somtheing in MS updates. MS wont tell you that they fudged it but they did. The fix is to undo there work.

Yes, The key to solving the problem is to back out of the updates one by one until it works again...
start/programs/accessories/system tools/ system restore, takes it back one update at a time

You may loose a new feature or become more vulnerable, but you can access your webs you are maintaining.
grrrrr.

A lot of folks didn't/don't have the problem you are having.

I've been using microsoft since DOS 1.0.
NEVER had an upgrade problem with ANY of their products including xp, office, fp. (since day one
The problem is on your machine, not with MS
Do the deal, when installing, shut down ALL running programs. Use alt/ctrl/del to shut down running programs not associated with windows, and not just the ones on your taskbar
Use msconfig to determine if a running program is conflicting.

Just because YOU'VE never had a problem doesn't mean they don't exist.
