Was there a Microsoft tool to test a system for w2k compatibility ? Can I still find it ?

ISTR that there was a tool that tested a system for w2k HCL
compatibility. Is there a chance I can still get a copy ?

winnt32 /checkupgradeonly
from the Windows 2000 Professional CD-ROM \i386 directory.

Can that be run from the CD without overwriting the WIn/98
system that's on the C drive ?
