I got stuck at another one of those pages whose javascript
uses "location =" instead of "location replace." To get back
to my Google search, I had to:
Click the "Tools" menu, click "Internet Options...," click the
"Security" tab, click the "Custom Level" button, click six
times on the scrollbar, click the "Disable" radio button, click
OK twice, hit the back button twice, and repeat the whole
first part again.
Very annoying. A toolbar button would be nice, or a key to
hold down while hitting the back button that would disable JS,
or a tray icon. Gotta be something out there...
Also, I keep ActiveX controls set to "Prompt." That's a lot
of extra clicking, and you really have no idea what ActiveX
control wants to run. If you're exploring one site for a while,
it would be nice to have an easy way to toggle from prompt
to enable to disable.
Any suggestions are most appreciated! I think there's a
Mozilla with a toolbar button, but I was hoping to use IE6.
Those Mozilla guys don't hang around here, right?
