Want to remove External keyboard

My laptop was sent to me with an external keyboard. I want to use just the keys on the laptop, but when I try to type sometimes numbers come up instead of the letters, example 1 for J, or 4 for U
Where do I go to advised the computer I want to use just the main keys?

Your keyboard "Numeric Overlay" might be active.

Consult the user manual for your laptop.

On a "Toshiba" it would be toggled via [Fn]+[F11]
