want to open outlook emails on a cd

My Company IT person copied my emails as .pst files to a CD, I can't open
them.
 
They cannot be opened on the cd.
Copy to hd, do not overwrite any existing pst, remove read only flag. Then
in OL, open the pst

You cannot open .pst files while they are on the CD. You need to transfer
the .pst file onto your hard drive, remove the "Read Only" attribute and,
then, open the .pst file from within Outlook.
