Am using Outlook 2003. When clicking ''TO' in a new email re: generating
the email address of a contact, the first 'column' is the list of contacts
sorted by Full name (followed by Display Name).

Is there any way to have my 'File As' info appear in this initial vertical
comun instead? this would be much easier for me to 'find' the contact for
whaich I am looking. (Similar to the way in which, when clicking 'contacts'
at the bottom of a New Journal Entry screen re: linking the Journal entry to
a specific contact, I have it set for my 'File As' names to be the first row
I see.

Thank you!

Just sort the Address Book by the File As... field.
Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there

Thank you!!! Everything in computers (and in 'life') should be so simple!
Much appreciated!
