Want a SATA HD but have a "Q"

I have a 3-4 yr old 2gig PC but the IDE's are tired and the mobo doesn't have
sata controller, if I buy a PCI sata card, is there some boot or DOS issues I
should know about?? Or maybe I just have to only buy IDE drives?

No, you don't only need to buy IDE drives. A controller card will be
just fine.
