Wanadoo nightmare

If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I downloaded Wanadoo dial up for a while until I waited for my broadband
connection to be set up.

The problem is, now the top of the IE page says' 'Microsoft internet
explorer provided by Wanadoo' and instead of the usual animation in the top
right corner of the page, I have the Wanadoo stupid icon.

I am distressed and frustrated and my limited computer knowledge is leading
me steadily towards a nervous breakdown. How do i get rid of Wanadoo once and
for all?

Please help.

cheers,

Stoolie

Have you uninstalled the software? if so do a system search for "Wanadoo"
and delete all you find.(I'm not sure what registry key this is)

Or option 2 Not only will spywareblaster prevent many forms of malware from
installing but under the "tools>msic explorer settings" you can have your
browser say anything you want up top.
Like "Stoolie's internet explorer" if you like.

Sometimes, when you remove malware it will stop your TCP/IP
stack from working (Internet connection).
Winsock or LSP-fix will correct the problem,Download first.
Note to anyone using NOD32 Anti-Virus software,Do Not delete the
"imon.dll" this fix reports,That is your e/mail scanning engine.

To help stop unauthorized downloads via your activex controls change your
default settings.
These settings are good for XP. The wording should be close for other systems
as well.
Go to control panel and open "internet options.
Click on the security tab then custom level.
make sure these settings are as follows.
