WAN Miniport

I like to connect to my DSL provider using XP's wizard and connecting
through the WAN Miniport (PPPOE). The other day my wife made a change on
the computer (I have no idea what she did). Now I can not connect using the
WAN Miniport. Nor can I tell even if it is still on the computer and
functioning. I am new to XP so any advice you can pass on would be of great
help.

Thanks

You could try making sure the WAN Miniport service is set to Automatic in
Start - Run - services.msc

I went to services.msc as you instructed. However I can not find anything
regarding the WAN Miniport there. Can you please enlighten me?

Thanks

In mine it has a "WAN Miniport (ATW) Service" and I thought if that was
disabled then it wouldn't work, but if it's not there... I don't know.

I double checked mine again and nothing saying "WAN Miniport (ATW) Service"
Thanks again for the advice.
