Wakes to user screen.

I have a Centrino ThinkPad laptop with XP Pro. When I open up my notebook, it automatically wakes, but insdead of going to my desktop, it goes to the user screen. I only have one user on this computer. The guest account is off, and I deleted the .NET account from the user preferences.

If you mean when the Thinkpad comes out of standby it goes to the Welcome
screen, do the following. Open Control Panel, open Display, go to the
Screen Saver tab, remove the check from "On resume, display Welcome screen,"
click apply and ok.

There is no "On resume, display Welcome screen" option. Only "On resume, Password Protect."
