waiting for another application to complete an OLE action...

I'm running office professional 2003

Everytime I open Excel I get the following error:
"Microsoft Office Excel is waiting for another application to complete an
OLE action"

This happens even when I open it with "Start -> All Programs -> Excel"

Any suggestions on a way to fix this?
