W32Welchiaworm

Have brand new computer. My home computer WindowsXP
connects to this Windows2000 computer. I have a virus,,
when I look in event log it says I have w32.welchia.worm
and it cannot repair it, I have downloaded every
antivirus fix, had Norton Running all updated, and this
still happened,,,Anybody know how I can fix this asap???

Go to www.sophos.com and get the removal tool. After that install the
ms03-039 patch on all W2K/XP's.

hello
i have had the same problem. if you are from the UK, the
NTLWORLD website has a patch you can install and a
FIXWELCH program you can download. ive tried it and it
works!
