W32time Windows Time

We have a non member server Windows 2003 that time tents to go out of synch.
We have set up the registry settings to synch the time with a local NTP
windows 2000 server.
When you look at the clock the seconds are changing way to fast, making the
time get ahead almost 7 minutes ahead. eventually the time goes back in synch.

is there any way to adjust the clock to run normally.

Maybe you should change the CMOS battery on this box.

What is a "non member server" ? A standalone server won't automatically sync
time with a DC, and I don't see much value in a standalone server when you
have a domain.
