My laptop (vaio grx570) keeps hibernating/rebooting
itself. I'm using xp home edition. When I go to
the "event viewer", it shows the same error (w32time). It
has something to do with clock synchronization. But could
anyone tell me how to fix it?

Thank you all in advance.

1/
go taskbar/click on - 'double-click on time display'/
go internet time - tab/
note
make sure the 'automatically synchronize...' option
is 'checked' for selection/
and
click on - 'update now'/
2/
you might also consider this as an option to run -
ie
Start->Run cmd.exe
net stop w32time
w32tm /unregister [ignore error message]
w32tm /unregister
w32tm /register
net start w32time

3/
you might want to 'deselect automatic restart' - ie
go start/right click - my computer/properties/
go - advanced tab/startup and recovery section/
go - settings/system failure section/
go - deselect - automatically restart/
go ok/go apply/
and take it fr there
