W32Randex.gen Help please!!

Norton finds a file named NETD32.exe infected with
w32randex.gen virus. I search for the file in
c:\windows\system32 and it is not there yet norton says it
is ifected. This is on a 2000 machine. What is netd32.exe
and why can't I see it or find it in a search?

probably because the file is hidden, enable hidden files and folders.
or maybe norton already Quarantained or deleted it.
