W2k versus XP

Hi:

I got some very helpful responses to my last post on this
topic. One last question: Does XP consume more
system "overhead" than W2k? ie is the newer operating
system going to run slower or will they be comparable?
Anybody know the "stated" and "real" minimum hardware
requirements for these OSs?

Windows 2K consumes MUCH less system resources. Even after disabling all
un-need services in XP it still takes up much more RAM and "resources" then
2K. From your last post in see the spec's of your computer, and XP "Will"
run, but i think you might be happier of 2K on it.
