Hi Everyone,
I'm having a problem. We've recently put a file server onto our network and
it seems to be hanging erratcially. At first I thought it might be the
temperature but after monitoring it, everything seems normal. The event
viewer doesn't show anything, and the perfmon won't, because everytime I
click on the "Network Interface" pull down the darn thing hangs. It's a VIA
Rhine II internal nic, on a Rhine Motherboard. CPU usage is minimal <10%, 30
users, 500mb RAM no other issues.

Does anyone have any great ideas on how to monitor the network, or
diagnostic software that won't freeze?

HELP! It's hanging users 2-3 times a day and I'm not sure how much longer I
can deal with this...

TIA,

Intotao

Just curious, what happens when you remove KB885835 from your system. Sounds
like a similiar problem I have. Removing this update seems to fix
everything.

Thanks! Funny enough this update was just recently applied. I've removed it,
guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Thanks again,
