w2k re-booting on turning local network connection on

Turning off local network connection and then turning it on sometimes
causes w2k to reboot.
What might be the reason?
 
Try unchecking automatic rebooting on system failure
If something is causing system failure, you will be able to see it

Start/Control Panel/System/Advanced tab/Startup and Recovery/uncheck
"auto... reboot.."
