W2K Pro Incoming Connection

Can incoming connections to a W2K Pro system be set up to
come from the internet (Like VPN or TS on W2K Server).
All of the documentation seems a bit vague on the point.
It mentions something about a Virtual Private Connection
page in the setup wizard for the incoming connection. But
I haven't been able to find anything on if it will work,
how to set it up on the remote end, what port(s) might
need opened on the router or anything. Is dial-up the
only option, or is there something that can be done over
the internet (either with W2K Pro or XP Pro).

Yes, you can use the Make New Connection wizzard to configure Win2kPro as a
VPN server. It can only accept one VPN client connection at a time. See:

Thanks much Doug. I will try it today. Is the VPN port I
need to open the same as VPN on a W2K server (1723 I seem
to remember).
