When I use the normal W2k boot disks (4 of them), when it
reaches the end...it says... no cd-rom drive found. I
need to have the cd boot from a USB cd-rom. Is this
possible?

THANKS!!

You'll have to open your BIOS and see if your motherboard supports
booting from a USB CD Drive. If it does, you'll have to change the
boot order to show it as the first bootable device.

No. You need to find a way to copy win2k setup files to the hard disk.
Then boot off a win98 boot floppy and run winnt.exe from hard disk.
After win2k is set up, your USB CD will be functional again (crossing fingers :)
