vxdmgr32.exe-no disk, what is needed?

vxdmgr32.exe-no disk (2nd line reads) \device\harddisk1
\DR1, It gives me the option to (continue) (try again) or
(cancel). this pops up every time I turn on the computer.
I hit cancel about two or three times and its goes away.
my question is what the computer asking exactly, so i can
fix the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
