VW32.Swen.A@mm virus

I am one of the universal dummies who infected my own
computer!!! As a result, I cannot access my files on my
C:/ drive, System Restore, Norton Antivirus (which, by
the way, did not keep the virus from getting to my
computer, or anything of interest. I need a magic
bullet! Help!

I did it too! SHEESH! And I know better.

I got into the system through the task manager
(ctrl+alt+delete). There is a button called "new task."
Hit this and it will direct you to the desktop.

For me it gave me a way around this damn worm. I am
still digging out, but it allowed me to get on the net
etc. and download virus update.

Larry, in order to use the Stinger, I need to first shut
down "System Restore". Problem is, that darn worm won't
allow me access to "System Restore". What do I do?

Boot into Safe Mode,turn off System Restore,then run Stinger.
