VT-UTF8 hyperterminal under XP?

Is it possible to use unicode characters in hyperterminal under WINXP?
Hyperterminal in Windows Server 2003 has VT-UTF8, yet what about XP?

Have you tried it urself? I already downloaded Hilgraeve hyperterminal
VT100 to VT320 is included, but not VT-UTF8 !

No, I'm sorry I haven't tried it; none of my computers has a modem.
Since Hyperterminal is made by the Hilgraeve people and you say the one
included in Win2k3 does what you want, contact Hilgraeve about this.
Hyperterminal in all Windows versions has always been from Hilgraeve,
so perhaps you can just get the version you want from them.

Have you tried the freeware "Putty"? It will do UTF8...
