VSS version control stored procedure not available

What can you do if you can't check the 'Enable Version Control' in .NET, ie
the option is greyed out? How do you get this activated?

I would like to know if you could resolve that problem cause wekinda have the same issue here where the option is greyed out.We followed microsoft steps for integration and what is weird isthat it works on one of the developers' machine but not on theothers. Thank you.
