Gary Roach

i'm working on a computer that is going extremely slowly. the task manager
shows the processes vsmon, winccfg, and svchost taking up all kinds of CPU
(the total CPU usage is 100%). i don't know what vsmon does but when i try
to kill it i get an access denied error. anybody know aht this is? this
computer has had spyware on it but according to adaware it's all gone. i
also had to run a utility called winfix to fix the winsock because the dns
resolution wasn't working. any help is greatly appreciated,

gary
